I did in 1 hour what used to take me weeks 🤯 There has never been a better time to try out a new project.

This weekend bolt.new (https://bolt.new/) gave out a ton of free credits for a massive hackathon.

I had a personal project sitting on the backburner: A system to capture family history. Upload recorded interviews and automatically extract the key people, events, and places, then write each person’s story.

With bolt.new I had an MVP in 1 prompt. A few small tweaks with a couple more prompts and BOOM — a fully working page.

With the exact stack I wanted, with a solid design right out of the box, everything running perfectly. The ideal starting point to iterate from.

Then I polished it with Windsurf. I think the Bolt/Lovable + Windsurf combo is the perfect stack for building something ASAP.
