Honest question — given the minimum wage situation, what should you invest in?
I was bouncing this around with Gemini yesterday and landed on moving much more of my portfolio to USD exposure because of the inflationary effect of the measure.
Also (and I had completely missed this one), investing in PEI (commercial real estate investment). Since commercial rents go up with inflation, it’s a “naturally” protected investment (or at least that’s what Gemini says lol).
My gut says the logical move is to minimize exposure to businesses heavily driven by minimum wage — manufacturing, food, security, cleaning, agriculture.
But I’m bringing it here to ask. What do you think is the right vehicle given the minimum wage decision? Calling in the experts: Daniela Rojas Nicolás Quintero Tavera Carolina Pineda
