Never stop networking ❌ You never know who you’re going to meet.
A few weeks ago I went to the #AuRA launch by IDB Lab and Fundación Bolivar Davivienda.
I sat next to Luz Mila Lancheros Carvajal. We chatted. Coincidence — she already knew my partner Camilo. Not that much of a coincidence (given the event), she’s deeply involved in the impact investment world.
We met again this week. A 1-hour meeting stretched to almost 2. Very aligned on some structural gaps in the investment ecosystem (both impact and more profit-driven). A lot of fire 🔥
I think we’re going to build powerful things together 🚀. And it all started by talking to the person next to me.
You have to go to events. And talk to people (even when you’re not feeling it, even when you don’t know anyone). Connections are where projects come from.
