I don’t understand the concept of a “pre-revenue company.” Even less so if it’s been pre-revenue for years 🧟

If the company isn’t selling anything, there’s no company — just an idea. It becomes a company when it starts selling.

Am I crazy? I’ve already heard two pitches from “companies” that have been pre-revenue for more than a year. WTF?
